Distance Selling Agreement

Article 1: Parties

Seller:

Buyer: the person whose name, address and contact details are entered at checkout and shown in the order confirmation.

Article 2: Subject

This agreement sets out the rights and obligations of the parties regarding the sale and delivery of the products ordered by the buyer on this website, in line with the consumer protection rules that apply to distance contracts (including, for consumers in Turkey, Law No. 6502 on Consumer Protection and the Distance Contracts Regulation, and for consumers in the EU, Directive 2011/83/EU as implemented in their country).

Article 3: Products and price

The products, quantities, unit prices, any shipping costs and the total amount payable are those shown in the order summary at checkout and in the order confirmation email, which form part of this agreement. Prices correspond to ROOT's official prices for the relevant store at the time of the order. Customs duties and import taxes, if any, are not included and are paid by the buyer.

Article 4: Payment

Payment is made by bank transfer to the account given in the order confirmation, using the order number as the reference. Payment must reach the seller within 3 business days of the order; otherwise, the order is cancelled automatically. For international transfers, transfer time and any bank or SWIFT fees are borne by the buyer.

Article 5: Delivery

After receiving payment, the seller places the order with ROOT (Root Wellness, LLC) within 1–2 business days. ROOT ships the products directly to the delivery address given by the buyer, from Franklin, Tennessee, USA, or one of its regional warehouses. Delivery times and conditions are described on the shipping page. In any case, delivery takes place no later than 30 days after the order, unless the buyer is informed of a delay and its reason. If delivery becomes impossible, the seller informs the buyer and refunds all payments within 14 days.

Article 6: Right of withdrawal

The buyer, if a consumer, may withdraw from this agreement within 14 days without giving any reason. The period begins on the day the buyer, or a third party named by the buyer, receives the goods. The buyer exercises this right by sending a clear statement to the seller, for example using the form on the right of withdrawal page. The seller refunds all payments received, including standard delivery costs, within 14 days of receiving the withdrawal notice, and may withhold the refund until the goods have been received back or proof of return has been provided. The direct cost of returning the goods is borne by the buyer.

Statutory exceptions apply. In particular, sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons may be excluded from the right of withdrawal once unsealed after delivery.

In addition to the statutory right, the buyer may return products under ROOT's commercial return policy within 30 days of purchase for a refund of 100% of the product price, excluding shipping, as described on the returns page.

Article 7: Obligations of the parties

• The seller delivers genuine products matching the order and informs the buyer by email of each order step.
• The buyer provides correct delivery and contact details, checks the parcel on delivery, and reports missing items within 10 days of receipt and non-delivery within 30 days of purchase.
• The buyer is responsible for checking that the products may be imported into the destination country.

Article 8: Complaints and disputes

Complaints can be sent to the seller using the contact details in Article 1. Consumers in Turkey may apply to the consumer arbitration committee or consumer court at their place of residence or where the transaction took place, within the monetary limits set each year. Consumers in other countries may turn to the courts or consumer bodies competent under their national law. Mandatory consumer protection provisions of the buyer's country of residence remain unaffected.

Article 9: Entry into force

The buyer confirms having read the pre-contract information and this agreement before placing the order. This agreement is concluded when the buyer receives the seller's order confirmation email (the one containing the seller's bank details). The buyer can save or print this agreement at any time from this page.
