What Is Root Prime? ROOT's Subscription Program Explained

Root Prime is ROOT's own subscription program: your chosen products are shipped automatically every 30 days. Here's how it works, what to know about changes and cancellations, and how to sign up.

If you use ROOT products every day, you'll soon come across Root Prime. It's ROOT's own subscription program, and it's run entirely on ROOT's official store. This guide explains what Root Prime is, how it works, what the rules are for changes, cancellations and returns, and how it relates to ordering through us.

Root Prime in a nutshell

ROOT describes Root Prime as a free loyalty membership program. When you subscribe, the products you choose are shipped to you automatically every 30 days. Your membership starts with your first Root Prime Subscription order, which ROOT calls an RPS order.

Root Prime members receive rewards and special services from ROOT. ROOT sets and updates these benefits itself, so we don't list them here. You'll find the current details on ROOT's official Root Prime page.

Root Prime vs. ordering through us

It's important to understand the difference:

  • Ordering on this site means one-off orders. You pay us by bank transfer each time, and we place the order with ROOT. We don't offer subscriptions or automatic deliveries.
  • Root Prime is a subscription with ROOT directly. You sign up on ROOT's store, pay with ROOT's payment methods, and your contract is with ROOT under ROOT's terms.

Both are valid ways to get ROOT products. If you like to decide each month, ordering through us or making single purchases on ROOT's store works well. If you'd rather not think about reordering, Root Prime may suit you better.

How Root Prime works

The 30-day cycle

Root Prime runs on a 30-day cycle. After your first RPS order, your selected products are processed and shipped about every 30 days. You can see your next processing date in your ROOT account.

Choosing your products

You choose which products go into your Root Prime cart. You can change your selection over time, as long as you do it in time before the next shipment (see below).

Payment

Root Prime is paid through ROOT's checkout, with the payment methods ROOT offers for your country. Bank transfer through us isn't possible for Root Prime.

Changing or cancelling Root Prime

According to ROOT's policies, you can modify, deactivate or reactivate Root Prime at any time. There is one important deadline, though:

  • Any change or cancellation must be submitted at least three (3) business days before your next Root Prime shipment date.
  • Requests made later may only take effect from the following shipment date.

To cancel, log in to your account on ROOT's website and use the Cancel Root Prime button. We recommend setting a reminder a few days before each processing date if you think you might want to pause or change your order.

Returns for Root Prime orders

Root Prime orders follow special return rules under ROOT's policy:

  • Your first Root Prime order can be returned.
  • Second and later Root Prime orders are non-refundable, except in specific circumstances where ROOT's customer support team approves the return.
  • Returning a later Root Prime order may affect your Root Prime rewards.

ROOT may refuse returns that were sent without approval, sent to the wrong address, sent before contacting support, or sent without a reason. Always contact ROOT's support before returning anything from a Root Prime order. These rules apply in addition to any statutory rights you have under the consumer law of your country.

How to sign up

To register on ROOT's store, you need a referral code; ROOT doesn't allow sign-up without one. You can use ours by clicking any "Buy from ROOT" button on this site. The steps on ROOT's store are roughly:

  1. Open ROOT's store through our link and create your account.
  2. Browse the shop and add the products you want to your Root Prime cart.
  3. Go to your dashboard and open the Root Prime section.
  4. Check your products and your processing date.
  5. Add a payment method, accept ROOT's terms and confirm. Your first RPS order activates your membership.

ROOT's interface may change over time, so the exact button names can differ. If you get stuck, ROOT's help center has guides on setting up Root Prime, or you can ask us.

Is Root Prime right for you?

Ask yourself a few questions:

  • Do I use the same products every month?
  • Am I comfortable paying by card or another ROOT payment method?
  • Will I remember the 3-business-day deadline before each shipment if I want to make changes?
